Welcome to the first Firebrand Glass blog! We decided to make a blog to share our experiences while blowing glass in Japan. During our trip  we will be working with Japanese glass artists, doing workshops and demos and visiting craft collections. We have dreamed of this trip for a long time and we look forward to sharing our discoveries with you.

Firebrand Glass is an innovative glass studio founded by artists Julia Reimer and Tyler Rock. The studio is a dynamic place where Rock and Reimer independently create award winning work. Their distinctive pieces are included in many private, corporate and public collections, including the private collection of the Premier of Alberta and the offices of the Prime Minister in Ottawa. It is also where they work collaboratively on commissions, corporate awards, teaching workshops and offer studio tours that are housed under the Firebrand name.
